Better returns on both equities and bonds

The financial markets showed a more positive trend in March. Equity funds focused on eastern equities gave returns of more than 10 per cent in March. Almost all types of equity funds gave positive returns. Only Danish and Japanese equities fell.

Bond funds gained from price increases on bonds. High yield bond funds gave the best returns.

Investors still on the sell side

Both private and institutional investors were on the sell side in March.

Net sales of funds from investors reached approximately DKK 13bn. Assets under management in the Danish industry fell from DKK 655 to 649bn.
