Danish equities gave historical high returns in April

The 850,000 private investors in the Danish unit trust industry profited from historical high equity returns in April. Funds focused on Danish equities gave returns on approximately 20 per cent in April. This is the highest return in one month in several years.

All in all the Danish funds earned just below DKK 40bn to the investors.  Assets under management in the Danish industry grew from DKK 649 to 682bn.
