Increase in assets in the Danish investment funds

In April 2010, assets in the Danish investment funds increased by DKK 19 billion to DKK 898 billion, even though the investors had DKK 8 billion in yield. The increase is due to high rates of return – for both shares and bonds – and the fact that investors bought new fund shares for DKK 13 billion. Of this, private investors bought new fund shares for DKK 4.5 billion. In the first 4 month of 2010, private investors have now bought new fund shares for DKK 17 billion.
